Hi! I’m Jennifer, and I compete in Basketball for Team Ontario! I first got involved through my high school, and I’ve now been part of Special Olympics for 23 years.
Special Olympics has helped me become less shy and make lots of friends. One of my biggest achievements was winning a gold medal for bowling at the World Games in Dubai. I’ve also competed at Nationals in PEI for bowling.
I work at Arc Industries as a cleaner and stay active through fundraisers and volunteering with new athletes.
Being part of Team Ontario means we worked hard as a team to get to Nationals.
My advice? Do your best — and have fun.
