Hi! I’m Chantelle, and I compete in Swimming for Team Ontario! I first got involved through swimming, and I’ve now been part of Special Olympics for 12 years.
Special Olympics has helped me make friends. One of my proudest achievements was making it to the Provincial Games and now going to National Games for the first time. At the 2024 Provincial Games, I won 3 gold medals and 1 silver medal.
I work at The Frosted Cupcake, where I do buttercream, prepare dry ingredients, and serve customers.
I also play golf, bocce, and swimming in my community.
Being part of Team Ontario makes me so excited to meet new people and compete in swimming!
My advice? You can do it if you put your mind to it!
