Hi! I’m Austin, and I compete in Basketball for Team Ontario! I first got involved through my teacher, and I’ve now been part of Special Olympics for 18 years.
Special Olympics has given me the chance to be with my friends and meet new people. One of my proudest achievements has been competing in Basketball, including traveling to Nova Scotia for Nationals.
Being part of Team Ontario means meeting new athletes and coaches and representing my community.
My advice? Just have fun and enjoy your time.
