Hi! I’m Kimberley, and I compete in Swimming for Team Ontario. I first got involved with my speedskating team heading to a Toronto meet back in 2020, and I’ve now been part of Special Olympics for 5 years.
Special Olympics has helped with my confidence and believing in myself more, and I’ve met new friends and members.
One of my proudest moments was heading to Nationals for the first time — skating on the ice was awesome. I participated at Nationals in 2024 for speedskating.
I work part-time on the production crew for an AHL hockey team for camera and related roles, and I stay active through volunteering.
Being part of Team Ontario means trying to beat my personal best times.
My advice? Be confident in yourself.
