Hi! I’m Jason, and I compete in Swimming for Team Ontario! I first got involved in Special Olympics through swimming and bowling, and I’ve now been part of the movement for 31 years.
Special Olympics has had a huge impact on my life. I see myself as an athlete — just like Eric Liddell. One of my proudest moments was winning two Gold Medals in 2024. I’ve also competed at Nationals before, including Floor Hockey in Thunder Bay in 2020.
I work at Sobeys in the produce department and stay connected to my community through Trinity United Church.
Being part of Team Ontario means independence to me.
