Hi! I’m Harris, and I compete in Swimming for Team Ontario! I was invited to join my local Special Olympics activities, and I’ve now been involved for 25 years.
Through Special Olympics, I’ve made lots of friends and built lasting connections. One of my proudest moments was competing at the Provincial Games in Guelph.
I work two days a week at Canadian Tire in the warehouse and help with fundraising and supporting other sports in my community.
I’m looking forward to making more friends and seeing everyone at Nationals.
My advice? Do extra training during the winter and spring — it makes a difference!
