Hi! I’m Emily, and I compete in Swimming for Team Ontario. My mom found out about Special Olympics when I was a baby, and I’ve now been part of it for 10 years.
Special Olympics has allowed me to make friends and travel.
One of my proudest moments was being inducted into the Hall of Fame and receiving the Hero Award.
I have participated in Rhythmic Gymnastics and Swimming at Nationals and Worlds.
I volunteer at my church and help with soup kitchen and community dinners. I also take part in the Torch Run.
Being part of Team Ontario feels amazing and I am grateful.
My advice? Have fun, make best friends, and just be you.
