Hi! I’m Taylor, and I compete in Basketball for Team Ontario! I first got involved when a police officer encouraged me to join, and I’ve now been part of Special Olympics for 25 years.
Special Olympics has helped me feel more confident and connected. One of my biggest achievements was winning Provincials at Laurier and qualifying for Nationals. I’ve also competed at the Summer National Games before.
I work at Longo’s in Guelph in Customer Service and help with fundraising efforts in my community.
Being part of Team Ontario means a lot to me.
My advice? Be a good teammate — and have fun.
