Hi! I’m Sheldon, and I’m proud to represent Team Ontario in Basketball. I first got involved when my gym teacher in elementary school told me about Special Olympics basketball — and I’ve been in it ever since.
Special Olympics has impacted my life in a big way, especially by giving me the chance to travel to different places. One of my proudest moments was attending the 2019 World Games and winning a bronze medal.
I work at Costco in Maintenance, and I’m genuinely honoured to be heading to Medicine Hat for the first time in my life as part of Team Ontario.
My advice? Have fun.
