Hi! I’m Letisha, and I compete in Basketball for Team Ontario! My brother started in Special Olympics first, and I joined five years later — now I’ve been involved for 17 years.
Special Olympics has helped me make lots of friends and be part of a strong team. One of my proudest moments was winning gold at the 2024 Provincial Games.
Being part of Team Ontario means I get to be with my team and hang out with my friends while competing at Nationals.
My advice? Have fun!
