Hi! I’m John, and I compete in Softball for Team Ontario! I first got involved through word of mouth, and I’ve now been part of Special Olympics for 28 years.
Special Olympics has allowed me to meet new people and try new sports. One of my proudest moments was being part of Team Ontario and going to Nationals for Softball.
Being part of Team Ontario means a whole lot to me.
My advice? Don’t be afraid to try new things — and never give up.
