Hi! I’m Grant, and I compete in Bocce for Team Ontario! I started in Special Olympics when I was about 7 or 8 years old in downhill skiing, and I’ve now been involved for 21 years.
Special Olympics has kept me healthy and is where many of my friendships have grown. One of my proudest moments was competing at Nationals in Thunder Bay in 2020 for cross-country skiing.
Representing Team Ontario is wonderful, and I’m proud to compete for my province.
My advice? Keep trying and don’t stop.
