Hi! I’m Eric, and I compete in Powerlifting for Team Ontario. My dad encouraged me to try it out, and I’ve now been part of Special Olympics for 17 years.
I’ve enjoyed the experience from working out and having a sense of community with my team.
One of my proudest moments was winning gold at the Vancouver National Games. I participated in the Vancouver National Games in 2014.
I currently work with the Timmins Police Service cleaning cars, and I am waiting for a new job I applied for at the Eleanor Mine.
Being part of Team Ontario means another chance for me and my team to try our best at the national level.
My advice? Do your best — that’s all we can do.
