Hi! I’m Emily, and I compete in Rhythmic Gymnastics for Team Ontario. I first got involved when my parents registered me after speaking with someone involved with Special Olympics.
Special Olympics has allowed me to meet new people and travel.
One of my proudest moments was making the National Team for Rhythmic Gymnastics and traveling on the airplane with my friends.
I’ve competed at Nationals in Antigonish for Rhythmic Gymnastics.
I work at The Wise Owl Café, where I serve customers, and I’ve attended fundraisers with my team.
Being part of Team Ontario means I am a good teammate.
My advice? Leave the world a better place.
