Hi! I’m Donald, and I compete in Tenpin for Team Ontario. I first got involved when a teacher showed me how to bowl in high school, and I’ve stuck with it ever since. I’ve now been part of Special Olympics for 25 years.
Special Olympics has been pretty good over the years. I’ve met a lot of different people at different events.
One of my proudest moments was bowling at Worlds in Connecticut when I was younger — it was a fun experience. I have participated at both National and World Games for tenpin bowling.
I stay active by attending events in the community.
Being part of Team Ontario is pretty cool — I made it on the team.
My advice? Do not ever quit.
