Hi! I’m Michael, and I compete in Tenpin for Team Ontario! I first got involved when a friend invited me while I was bowling recreationally, and I’ve now been part of Special Olympics for 12 years.
I really enjoy the competitive aspect of sport and pushing myself to improve. One of my proudest moments was winning three medals at a Provincial Games.
I work part-time at Great Lakes Brewery and stay active year-round, including playing lawn bowling in the summer.
This will be my first time going to Alberta, and I’m excited to represent Team Ontario.
My advice? Keep working. Keep going — even if you have a bad game.
