Hi! I’m Karim, and I compete in Swimming for Team Ontario! I first got involved through friends, and I’ve now been part of Special Olympics for 10 years.
I’ve competed at Provincials twice and have won two gold medals and one silver — moments I’m really proud of.
I’m active in my community through leadership roles, and I also work in a government advisor role where I help communicate what people want and need.
Being part of Team Ontario makes me very happy.
My advice? Put your game face on and give it your best.
