Hi! I’m Damian (you can call me Derf Jr), and I compete in Softball for Team Ontario. My family has played for over 25 years, and I grew up playing softball.
Special Olympics has impacted my life by giving me hope that there is a safe place.
My proudest moment was winning all 4 provincial games, and being part of Team Ontario makes me happy — I’m proud to be part of a team.
My advice? Don’t be discouraged — have fun and play hard.
