Hi! I’m Brook, and I compete in Softball for Team Ontario! I first got involved when a friend invited me, and I’ve now been part of Special Olympics for five years.
Special Olympics has given me the chance to try new things and grow as an athlete. One of my proudest moments was playing at Provincials — and now Nationals!
I work at Maple Foods gathering eggs and also as an Independent Grocery clerk. I stay involved through fundraising and helping teammates.
Being part of Team Ontario means getting to try something new and have fun.
My advice? Remember we’re here to have fun and enjoy the experience.
