Hi! I’m Jacqueline, and I’m part of Team Ontario in Golf. I first got involved through a friend whose son was in Special Olympics, and I’ve now been part of it for 9 years.
Special Olympics has helped me meet lots of other parents with kids similar to mine and makes me feel part of a community.
One of my proudest moments was when my son won gold in D1.
I stay active through fundraisers.
Being part of Team Ontario means my son can fulfill his dream to be there.
My advice? Have fun and enjoy the friends you meet.
