Hi! I’m Carolyn, and I’m proud to be part of Team Ontario in Golf! I first got involved when my son was part of Community Living and they suggested Special Olympics — and it’s been part of my life for 15 years.
Special Olympics has given me the confidence to step outside my comfort zone and be part of something truly meaningful. One of my proudest moments was when my son was chosen for bowling at Nationals in 2014.
I stay active by fundraising and serving on planning committees in my community.
I’m so proud to be attending Nationals with my golfer this year.
My advice? Congratulations on making Team Ontario — enjoy every moment of the experience!
