Hi! I’m Wayne, and I compete in Bocce for Team Ontario! I first got involved through my support worker and have now been part of Special Olympics for five years.
Through Special Olympics, I’ve made new friends and improved my skills. My biggest achievement so far has been making it to Provincials.
I help out with fundraising and even participated in the Polar Plunge last year.
I’m very excited to attend the National Games in Medicine Hat.
My advice? Stay active, walk lots, stay hydrated, and take care of yourself.
