Hi! I’m Sheila, and I’m part of Team Ontario in Bocce! I joined the Milton Special Olympics Facebook group and quickly became involved — I’ve now been part of Special Olympics for six years.
After volunteering with golf, I saw firsthand the impact of the program and became even more committed. One of my proudest moments as a coach has been attending Provincials with athletes.
I’m active as a Golf Team Manager and Curling Coach in my community.
Being part of Team Ontario is a continuation of my love for Special Olympics.
My advice? Enjoy the time leading up to the Games and do your best.
