Hi! I’m Luke, and I compete in Bocce for Team Ontario! I first got involved through a Down Syndrome Association group that introduced me to Special Olympics — and I’ve now been part of the community for 25 years.
Special Olympics has given me great opportunities to stay active and compete. One of my proudest moments was qualifying for Team Ontario and attending the Winter National Games in Calgary in 2024 for Bowling.
I work at Sobey’s in the produce department and help with initiatives like Smile Cookie fundraising.
Being part of Team Ontario makes me excited and proud. I love playing sports and representing my community.
My advice? Do your best, have fun, and be kind and encouraging to others.
