Hi! I’m Catherine, and I compete in Bocce for Team Ontario! I got involved by offering my professional services, and it grew into 19 years with Special Olympics.
Special Olympics has broadened my life in meaningful ways. One of my proudest memories was at Provincials last year, watching athletes succeed through hard work.
I’ve coached many sports over the years and stay deeply involved in my community.
Being part of Team Ontario means being part of something greater than yourself.
My advice? There’s a long time between selection and competition — stay focused and enjoy the journey.
