Hi! I’m Richard, and I compete in Athletics for Team Ontario! I first got involved when I was a young boy, and I’ve now been part of Special Olympics for 40 years.
Special Olympics has had a great impact on my life. It has given me opportunities to grow and compete at high levels. One of my proudest achievements was winning gold medals at Nationals, which led me to compete internationally.
I work at the Walter Gretzky Golf Course in Brantford and have volunteered making donuts at Tim Hortons events.
Representing Ontario at Nationals means a lot to me.
