Hi! I’m Nehan, and I compete in Athletics for Team Ontario. I first got involved after my parents convinced me to try swimming, which I ended up being a big fan of. I’ve now been part of Special Olympics for 10 years.
Special Olympics has allowed me to meet new and interesting people.
One of my proudest moments was getting 3 gold medals at the Provincial Games.
Being part of Team Ontario means I can demonstrate my skills to my family, my community, and my province.
My advice? No matter how different you may be from your peers, remember that one thing that will be the same is the determination for the game.
